Rebecca Phillips, co-founder
Rebecca Phillips co-founded RL Phillips in 1998. Recognizing a need for an IT professional services which offered senior-level and credentialed technology professionals, her efforts have resulted in recognized excellence and stable growth in both the commercial and federal market. Prior to co-founding RL Phillips, Rebecca was a senior marketing/product manager at Smith and Nephew-DonJoy, a leading orthopedic and medical company located in Carlsbad, CA. She initiated and managed the FDA approval for DonJoy's key orthopedic products. Rebecca has a BA in Communications from Chico State University.
Jim Pietrocini, co-founder, senior consultant
Jim is a senior system consultant/engineer focused on information technology and information security. Jim has several years experience in command and control and federal IT architectures. He was initial program manager for the Joint Operational Tactical System II, which evolved to today's Department of Defense Common Operating Environment and Global Command and Control System. He currently provides C4I and IT support to the Navy Program Executive Officer (PEO) for C4I and Space. Jim's prior positions includes Director of Federal Programs at the Internet startup, TriTeal Corporation and General Manager/Program Director at International Research Institute, Inc., a company that developed key IT systems for the Department of Defense. He also held business development positions at Lockheed Martin and Silicon Valley-based Athena Systems. Jim has a BS in Mathematics from the US Naval Academy.
Kyle Cunningham, senior systems engineer
Kyle is a senior systems engineer focused on information technology and information security. Kyle's prior experience included senior software engineering for Wheat International Communication Corporation, who provided software/hardware architecture and integration for the US Marine Corps mobile weather group. Kyle was also a software engineer at Inter-National Research Institute, a company who provided turnkey IT and C4I solutions for the Department Of Defense. At INRI, Kyle worked on key DOD systems such as the Global Command and Control System and Defense Information Infrastructure (DII) Common Operating Environment (COE). He also was a software engineer for San Diego State University Foundation, who provided software and network solutions for the Department of Defense. Kyle has a BS in Computer Science at San Diego State University.
Michael J. Morey, senior network security engineer, chief engineer (cissp)
Michael is a senior network engineer focused on information security and information technology in the commercial and government sectors. Michael's prior experience includes information security engineering in the area of VPN/PKI integration for the US Marine Corps. In addition, Mike provided systems engineering expertise by supporting the design software and hardware architectures for the Marine Corp Network Operation Center. Mike also was a network engineer at SPAWAR, supporting the Information Security Program Office. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Frank Scalzo, senior network security engineer, NMCI Team Leader(cissp)
Frank is a senior network security engineer focused on enterprise information technology security solutions. Currently Frank works as an Information Assurance Architect for one of the worlds largest enterprise networks, the Navy Marines Corp Intranet (NMCI). In his previous position with Scientific Applications International Corporation (SAIC), he designed, implemented and managed the regional secure network for the United States Marine Corps. Additionally, he was also instrumental in the design, implementation and management of a secure heterogeneous environment that was utilized to support command and control systems for the Marine Forces Pacific Headquarters command.
